Adventures of Zoldan is a Sci-Fi 2D Action RPG.  

Current  version: 0.6

This version only contains two scenes where the player can walk around in, collect loot & weapons and fight with simple slime enemies. The plan is to get the basic RPG systems (Inventory, picking up loot, dialogue with NPC's and Quests) implemented first before building complete levels. The inventory and picking up loot part is nearing completion, so I'm now going to focus on Quests and dialogue with NPC's.

For the fifth update I added tool tips on the inventory items, so that you can read what you are collecting. I added stacking of certain items, so you can take 20 bars of titanium in one slot. I also implemented equipping weapons on the action bar. The player can now drag weapons from the inventory to the action bar and then use the weapon. Last but not least, several sound effects are added for exploding barrels, picking up loot and defeating slime enemies.   

Basic game play is that you can move around by using WASD keyboard keys and attack with the left mouse button. The action bar slots can be selected by pressing 1 through 5. To have something there to select, drag weapons from the inventory on the action bar slots. Press "ESC" to open the game menu and "I" to access the inventory of the character. 

Any comments on the game in this state are very welcome!

Next update will be my first attempt at creating NPC dialogue..
